100% Tempranillo (known locally as Tinto Fino). 12 months in French oak barrels (50% new). The old vines are planted on a sandy and stony soil, completely typical of the Atauta Valley. Intensely fragrant bouquet of red- and blackcurrants, mocha, violets, black pepper and subtle oak. Taste of ripe fruit, velvety, herby and remarkably fresh. Rounded tannins and a long, juicy finish. Balance! Goes well with red meat, big game, mature cheese and highly seasoned dishes, like those with black truffle, typical of the Soria region.
