70% Verdil, a local grape. 10% Viognier, 10% Chardonnay and 10% Sauvignon Blanc. Half of the wine is barrel aged for an average of two months in new, French oak barrels.

This wine is made from grapes from the Alforin valley. The vineyard's soil is predominantly comprised of white limestone. The whole Vall d'Albaida is therefore blessed with a remarkable white surface. The soil absorbs rain like a sponge, and then, when it dries, the top layers form a natural barrier that stops the evaporation of the water beneath. The grapes are kept in a cold room for 15 days prior to vinification, at a temperature of -5°C. Cold fermentation. Certified organic.

Clear, white fruit, gentle spices, balanced, with adequate residual acidity. Floral and mineral. Agreeable wine to accompany meals. Supports rather than dominates.

Delicious with fish with butter sauce, for example. Also pairs perfectly with herby chicken, Asian cuisine, or with a hearty, rich paella.
