
In this subtle wine, Can Rafols dels Caus has made a beautiful blend of the classic Bordeaux grapes Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Merlot. Harvested entirely by hand and aged in French oak barrels after vinification for a further 12 months. Clearly also a wine to keep, with the requisite robustness and balance. Fruity (red fruit) with mineral notes, softly toasted and a bit earthy too, endowed with Mediterranean aromas and herbs, velvety tannins and fresh acidity. With roast leg of lamb, game birds, steak.
