100% Palomino Fino Macharnudo vineyard, near Jerez de la Frontera, 30 km from the ocean. A lot of impact from the Levante, the dry, hot east wind that blows from inland. Continental climate. The soil is Albariza de Barajuela (layered limestone). The wine is statically aged in used sherry barrels and sits under flor for four years. Its terroir gives this Manzanilla higher concentration but lower salinity. Concentrated straw, almond and ripe white fruit aromas. Minerality in excess (chalk, gravel, ...). Creamy and balanced in the mouth.
