
90% Marselan, 10% Petit Verdot. Marselan is a cross between Cabernet Sauvignon and Grenache Noir, first grown in 1961, at the Domaine de Cadez in Languedoc-Roussillon, France. It is a small, early ripening grape which produces complex wines. The Marselan is planted on a barren, pure limestone soil in the Massif Garraf, a beautiful, inland nature reserve near the seaside town of Sitges. Only the grapes own wild, natural yeasts are used. 12 months' ageing in French oak barrels. ripe red fruit, light, a fine herbaceousness, a clear, mineral touch and nice acidity. Petit Verdot gives the wine boldness and depth. Pairs with fried or roast red meat. As well as with cheese and charcuterie.
