This wine is made from the classic Rioja combination: 93% Tempranillo, 4% Graciano and 3% Mazuelo. 40-year-old vines. 16 months' ageing in French (10%) and American (90%) oak barrels. Lively, dark red colour. Ripe red fruit aromas with hints of cocoa and soft vanilla with a balsamic accent. Medium-bodied, with a wonderful balance between soft tannins and soft acids. Elegant and flavoursome finish. Delicious with fried and roast meat, lamb chops, roast and herby chicken.
