The story of Bodegas Fuentenarro begins in the 1930s. The grandparents of the family that currently run the bodega, planted their first vines in La Horra, the part of D.O. Ribera del Duero in the Province of Burgos. Viña Fuentenarro is the name of a legendary vineyard in the neighbourhood of La Horra, where the terroir and microclimate ensure the best grapes. A new bodega was built in 2002 and to this day they only use grapes from their own vineyards and the entire vinification process is done under their own management. These vineyards are processed biodynamically.
