100% Menciavan from 100-year-old vines. Six months in French oak barrels and bottled without filtration. Intense, elegant nose of ripe berries, strawberries and raspberries with hints of flowers, such as violets. There are background aromas of well integrated vanilla, tobacco and a nice minerality. Soft, elegant attack, fresh and rounded with balanced acidity: the wine has a decidedly Atlantic character in which the typical Mencia taste dominates in harmony with the wood. Pairs with roast meat, poultry, but also good with, for example, mushroom risotto.
