Collection: D.O. Utiel-Requena

This D.O. is located on the central inland plateau (meseta), to the west of Valencia. With 40,000 hectares of vineyards, a good 7,000 winemakers and 110 recognised bodegas, this is one of Spain's largest wine areas. Situated at the west of the Province of Valencia, it has a rather temperate climate for this country in both summer and winter. The native grape is Bobal. Additionally Tempranillo (known locally as Cencibel), Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Garnacha Tinta are also used here.
