100% Pedro Ximénez. Approximately 20-year solera. Bottled from a single, specific cask, as is always the case at Bodegas Lorente y Barba. Raisin, fig, date and honey aromas. Very flavoursome in the mouth, velvety and intense with a lightly acidic, wry touch that keeps the whole in balance. Very long finish with roasted coffee, cocoa and liquorice root aromas. Delicious by itself as dessert. Also pairs with bitter dark chocolate, vanilla ice cream and with strong blue cheeses like Cabrales or Stilton.
