100% Bobal. Approximately 60-year-old vines, grown on chalky, clay soil. The average altitude of the plots is 750 metres. The grapes are monitored with great care and selected as much as possible to reflect the typical character of Bobal in the region. 12 months' ageing in new, French oak barrels, followed by at least 12 months in bottles before the wine is brought to market. Typical red fruit aromas supported by hints of Mediterranean scrub, toast and coffee. Balsamic, lightly mineral. Very balanced in the mouth, with soft tannins, and characteristic, elegant Bobal acidity. Pairs with fried and roast red meat, squab, stew, raw milk cheeses, dark chocolate.

About the bodega
Dominio de la Vega
We discovered this estate through its outstanding Cavas. We subsequently added a number of extremely agreeable and reasonably priced, quality wines with the local, fruity Bobal grape taking the lead.
