80% Garnacha, 20% Cariñena (known locally as Samsó). 12 months' ageing in French oak barrels. Herby and mineral, with ripe red fruit and cocoa aromas subtly underpinned by wood. Interwoven tannins, balanced with a velvety finish. Pairs with roast chicken, duck breast, rustic game pâtés, roast steak and hearty stews. Also with hard, mature cheeses.
