Cava Gran Reserva Brut Nature. 20% Macabeo, 65% Xarel.lo, 15% Parellada. 50-year-old vines, on the Clos Damiana plot. The base wine is fermented in chestnut barrels. After that the wine is left to age for a further 12 months in the same barrels. Secondary fermentation in the bottle in excess of 160 months (13+ years!). The bottles are capped with natural cork for the secondary fermentation. Manual dégorgement. No liqueur d'expédition. Individually packaged Small, fine bubbles. Clos Damiana is a Cava of great aromatic richness and finesse. Elegant, ripe fruit. Toast, toffee, vanilla, toast, nuts, ... Noticeably fresh and assertive for its age. Its small bubbles are nicely integrated. Mature and structured in the mouth, with complex flavours and a long, dry finish. Pairs with lots of things, every dish on the menu.
