100% tintilla de rota from pago Balbaina, part of vineyard Calderín de Obispo. The soil consists of albariza barajuela and tosca cerrada. 60% of the grapes are not destemmed after harvest. Soft pressing. Maceration at 5°C. Fermentation partly in open barrels, partly in stainless steel, then aging for 12 months in used French oak barrels of 6 years old.
Intensely aromatic, notes of ripe red and black fruits, dried flowers, spice. Velvety mouthfeel, concentrated and balanced with the typical acidity of the tintilla.
