100% Garnacha. The grapes used for this wine are grown on the high lying slopes of the Sierra del Molar. Autochthonous yeasts are used for fermentation. Winemaker Jose Maria Vincente also ferments (30%) whole bunches in the underground vats - a technique typical of Jumilla. 13 months in 500 litre, French oak barrels. Certified organic. Red fruit and blackberry aromas. Balsamic, fresh with hints of Mediterranean scrub and wild herbs. Smooth in the mouth, with balanced acids and an agreeable, fresh fruitiness.
