An artisanal Cava, made from the typical Penedés grapes: Xarel.lo, Macabeo (locally known as Viura) and Parellada, with added Chardonnay. Reserva Brut Nature, thus without added sugar, 42 months' secondary fermentation in the bottle. Limited family production (between 14,000 and 24,000 bottles depending on the harvest). Intense aromas of ripe apples with hints of honey, flowers and nuts. Tones of yeast and pastry dough (from the long secondary fermentation in the bottle). A true, typical, quality Cava: fresh, sparkling, with a typical bitterness from the Penedés. This box contains a Brut Nature: 0 grams added sugar and no residual sugar either, which makes for a bold and very dry Cava. Lovely as an aperitif, of course (its dry character makes it ideal). But also good with cheese and charcuterie.

The Rosell family has been making artisanal, deluxe and fine Cavas since 1845 at their bodega ‘Cal Batllevell’ in the old quarters of the Cava city of Sant Sadurní d'Anoia.
